- A welcoming, confidential, drop-in group for youth to meet other
young LGBTQQ people and find support on issues like coming out
to parents, dealing with harassment, and more. Stop by for the
social hour to hang out and meet others before the meeting!

- Need to talk with someone one-on-one? Youth receive low-cost,
individual counseling with one of our many LGBTQQ sensitive and
knowledgeable interns. Email us or call to make an appointment.

& Referrals
- With a 100+ volume library, you can find information on topics
ranging from sexual health to gay and lesbian fiction. Referrals
are also available for free HIV/STD testing, emergency housing,
legal assistance, and more. Just drop by and check it out!

- Anti-Homophobia
Workshop Presenters
- Youth develop leadership, presentation, and advocacy skills
by learning to teach our unique Anti-Homophobia Workshops in their
schools and other youth organizations. Trainings occur periodically
throughout the year. If you're interested in being on the list
for the next training.
- Speakers
Bureau
- Youth build advocacy and public speaking skills, and self-confidence
while increasing awareness and understanding around lgbtqq issues.

- UNIQUE:
Understanding Issues in the Queer Experience
- Anti-Homophobia Workshops - This interactive, educational workshop
increases understanding and awareness of the destructive consequences
of homophobia through classroom-based education and empowerment
for middle school and high school students.
- Youth
Speaker's Bureau
- Outlet youth share their personal “coming out” stories in order
to successfully increase awareness of LGBTQQ youth issues resulting
in improved services, safer schools, and a more accepting community.
- UNIQUE
Counselor Trainings
- Outlet provides 90 minute trainings for local counseling agencies
to support their clinicians in providing LGBTQQ sensitive and
appropriate services. Psychotherapists will learn valuable information
and gain practical skills to better serve their LGBTQQ clients.
- UNIQUE
Teacher Trainings
- Outlet trains school personnel through a 3-part series on supporting
their LGBTQQ students and enforcing California's anti-harassment
laws.

101
– exit at Shorline BLVD and go west towards downtown MT. View
. Take a left at Church street, go through a stop sign and the
light at Castro and you'll see CHAC on your right. When
you are looking at the building, go into the door on your right.
That is the meeting room.
From
280 – exit at El Monte and go right (East)
towards Mountain View / Los Altos (away from the hills). Go straight
over Foothill Expressway all the way to the end where you can't
go straight anymore (no pun intended). Take a left at the stop
sign, then a right onto El Camino. Then a left onto Castro Street
from El Camino. Then right onto Church Street . Follow the rest
of the directions for 101 above.
From
El Camino - turn onto to Castro Street going
towards downtown. Take a right at the first light onto Church
Street . CHAC is on your right. See above for the rest.

Get off at the Mountain
View Train Station.
Once
you get off the train, walk up either Hope Street or Castro street
(away from Central Ave – the bigger 4 lane highway). You
will eventually hit Church street . From Hope, take a right and
cross the street, CHAC is right there. From Castro, take a left
at Church and CHAC will be on your right.
